You will begin your tour by connecting or departing from Vancouver or Toronto.

Upon arrival Beijing, you will be met by a local guide and transfer to Hotel.
Hotel: Novotel Xinqiao Hotel or similar.

After breakfast, visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world. Your will visit the Imperial Palace - the 'Forbidden City'. After lunch you will visit the Summer Palace where you will be enchanted by a rolling landscape of lake, pagodas and pavilions. You will enjoy a boat ride on Kunming Lake. You will then visit the Temple of Heaven, an expansive example of Ming Dynasty architecture, where emperors presided over prayers for good weather and harvests. Welcoming dinner will be served at our hotel.

After breakfast, you will visit the jade carving factory. Your coach will continue on to the Great Wall of China at Podoling. After lunch, you will enjoy a ride on a tricycle rickshaw through the 'Hutong' - an exploration of one of the remaining traditional Beijing neighborhoods of cottages and narrow alleyways. You will visit the Beijing zoo and say hello to the Panda before you return to your hotel. This evening you will enjoy the traditional Peking duck. This will be followed by the famous Beijing Opera show.
